Webinar 3 | Community Mapping
To truly understand the assets and possibilities within our communities require that we identify the key aspects and resources.The process of community mapping has been utilized to not just identify these assets, but to form strategies and actions to take advantage of what community has to offer. This session will not just introduce the community mapping process, but articulate ways and means to use these assets to assist people who are isolated to establish connections.

ABOUT THE TRAINER
Al Condeluci initiated his career in human services in 1970, working in a variety of direct support roles. He was selected as CEO of Community Living and Support Services (CLASS) in 1991 and served in this capacity until his retirement in 2018. He still teaches at the University of Pittsburgh, writes, speaks, and consults both virtually through Zoom and in person on issues related to culture, community, and social capital.
Al lives in McKees Rocks, PA, just outside Pittsburgh, on “Condeluci Hill” with his wife, and other members of the extended Condeluci family.
FORMAT
This online training event will take place via the Zoom platform. Participants will be sent a meeting link the week before the event. Training materials will be sent via email the day before the event.
