Community Engagement Project - Info Session with Dr. Al Condeluci

Join us on December 8th for an Information Session with Dr. Al Condeluci on the Community Engagement Project. 

This information session will introduce the training series starting on January 26th, 2022 and will explore the values foundation for a macro approach to community engagement. We will look at the key theories surrounding an inclusion agenda, and focus a community building framework that will set the stage for the training series as well as 3 potential project follow-up options.

POTENTIAL PROJECT FOLLOW-UP OPTIONS : 

• Option 1 | Community Building Coaching - Here we would identify 3 agencies to have up to 5 hours of community coaching from Dr. Al Condeluci. This would include any problem-solving issues that are challenging to the agency, from client/family issues, to strategic planning, to advanced training.
• Option 2 | Community Mapping - This would be a collaborative effort to “map” the formal and informal resources and gathering places in the greater Ottawa area and create a data base that can be used by all the ODSN members. This data base would allow any member to search for community options that might be best for people they support in becoming more active in community.
• Option 3 | Research Project - Would frame a Research Project where 2 or 3 member agencies would identify some folks they serve to receive a “wrap-around” support service designed to promote community engagement.
